The Dimesse Sisters, Daughters of Mary Immaculate are called to live the "Compliance of life and love of Christ Crucified" and resurrected, with humble discretion, in simplicity and evangelical joy, looking at Mary humble and faithful disciple of the Lord to the cross, to cooperate in the salvation of the Church and to their own and the world. We realize well the ideal of "apostles of truth in charity" under the impulse of a unique love for God and his people.
Our Charism and Spirituality continues to flourish in four continents Europe (Italy), Asia (India), America (Brazil) and in Africa (Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania). Ethiopia

Inspired by God
Inspired by God and in full consciousness, one has not been married and is ready to detach from any worldly intrigue, longing to live in a way that is more pleasing to God.
Christian Values
She also has to endeavour and to develop Christian virtues in order to conform to the love and life of Jesus Crucified (and risen).
Good will
Should be well behaved, capable, and of good will.
Of Strong faith
Not be of lukewarm or hard character, but of strong, fervent and docile will, faithful, sincere and constant will.
Sound doctrine
Simple, humble will, totally subjected to the faith and the doctrine of the Holy Catholic Roman Church.
Age
Mature and reasonable age (20 – 25 years) able to make right judgement
Intelligence
Be of an average intelligence. (C plain and above) college or University graduates
Charitable works
Have lived at least for one year at home or more in Higher Education, in peace and devotedly among her people, committed in virtuous actions, and in charitable works.
Of sound mind
Have good health, mentally and physically.
Visitation
For this reason, she will come not only come to join us but she is required to make several visits, in order to be known by the vocation animator in the spiritual life, and be guided on what to commit herself to.
Stages of becoming a Dimesse Sister
The process involves several stages including initial contact, discernment meetings with a vocation minister, a period of postulancy, followed by novitiate and eventually taking vows.
1. Inquiry and Discernment
- Objective: Explore your calling and learn about the congregation.
- Activities: Meetings with a vocation director, participating in retreats, or visiting the community to learn about their charism, mission, and lifestyle.
2. Aspirancy
- Objective: Begin living in closer association with the community to deepen understanding of religious life.
- Duration: 1 Year
- Activities: Living with the sisters or visiting regularly while continuing discernment and building relationships.
3. Postulancy
- Objective: Begin formal training and integration into the community.
- Duration: 2 years.
- Activities: Studying the rules, mission, and history of the congregation, and participating in community prayers, apostolic works, and daily life.
Novitiate
- Objective: Deepen spiritual formation and prepare for vows.
- Duration: 2 years.
- Activities: Intensive spiritual training, theological studies, and limited involvement in apostolic work. This is a time for deep reflection and understanding of the commitment.
First Profession
- Objective: Make the first profession of vows (poverty, chastity, obedience).
- Duration: 3 to 6 years, renewable annually.
- Activities: Living fully as a member of the congregation while continuing discernment. The sister participates actively in the apostolic mission while receiving ongoing spiritual and theological formation.
Final Profession
- Objective: Make a lifetime commitment to the congregation and its mission.
- Activities: Publicly pronounce perpetual vows, becoming a full member of the community. The sister dedicates her life to prayer, service, and the apostolate.
- Jubilees:
- Silver Jubilee: 25 years
- Golden Jubilee: 50 years

To offer ourselves as humble and joyful apostles of truth in love under the protection of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.
Enriched by the exaltation of “Ad Gentes”, we evangelize the people of God through different apostolates.

AS DIMESSE SISTERS
We are open to the needs of the church within time and place. Charism & Spirituality lived & shared. Over the years the fruits of witnessing in Conformity of love and life to Jesus Crucified, a new shoot Fr. Anthony Pagani Lay fraternity has also sprout out where we share our Charism and spirituality with the Lay persons.
